Set in a rural location behind the main beach road, surrounded by coconut and mango trees, very peaceful, very quiet and yet a short walk to the beach and bars.

In the evening you can sit in the peaceful garden and listen to nothing other than the birds in the trees and the occasional tuktuk passing by.

This apartment is also attractively priced given its great location. Guest have access to complete apartment and garden.

The air conditioning in the property is disconnected as its not normally needed as there is usually a cool breeze off the sea, however if you do need it then you can pay locally a fee of 500 rupees a day for this facility.

Your hosts are Malika and her son Randeer they love music and often play in local bars and will spend many evenings sitting in the garden playing music for guests

By the way Malika is a great cook and would be delighted to prepare you a traditional Sri Lankan rice & curry for a very small fee if you ask her.

The property is located in an area called Palagathura junction which is basically located at the north end of “beach Rd” which is the main strip with all the bars & restaurants.

In the last 12 months Palagathura junction has been transformed and now comprises of some of the best bars & restaurants in Negombo. However with a huge difference than the rest of Negombo, better quality and lower prices than the established bars like Lords, Rodeo & Serendip which are situated near to Jetwing Blue.

On the land side of the road is the delightful family restaurant run by 2 twin brothers – Sunnys Restaurant with its modern setting and interesting attached art gallery. Sunny specializes in seafood and Sri Lankan rice & curry.

Great Reviews: We had a great time in the apartment. It was nearby the beach and shops and we had a lot of Space. Lanka4me arranged a taxi to the airport in the night, so we where on time for Our flight.

Our hosts made us feel incredibly welcomed! We stayed on the upper apartment which had everything we needed. The place was very clean and had a classy Sri Lankan style. We were very lucky to share a night of music and good food with our neighbours downstairs. We loved everything including the location. It was in a safe neighbourhood with a 3 minute walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk to the supermarket.

Had a great stay in Negombo at then end of our Sri Lankan trip. The apartment was perfect, good size, full kitchen, close to beach, shops and bars and most importantly in the Sri Lankan heat – lots of fans!!! Also a lovely couple living below that helped with airport transfer at 4am. We had a bit of a nightmare with train delays getting back from Ella and our intended 8:30pm arrival ended up turning into a midnight arrival, not much fun in monsoon rain and no buses to Negombo but Lanka4me was AMAZING!!! Constant contact via phone and their driver Raj was on hand regardless of time to pick us up, with a big smile, it was just what we needed at the end of a 14hr mammoth journey. Thank you Lanka4me and Raj 🙂
