Excellent reviews: I cannot speak highly enough of ‘Lievi’. He and his staff made me feel extremely welcome and he very generously took me and the two girls I had met on the train, to the village hall to join the locals in their Vesak celebrations. A real privilege. The breakfast was very good. Each room has its own table directly outside the room and overlooking the pretty garden.

Great Reviews:This was our favorite place that we stayed on our most recent trip to Sri Lanka. The room was perfectly clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the view from the room over the rice fields was beautiful. It was so peaceful and calming, we slept incredibly well. The rice and curry at dinner was fantastic, their homemade coconut sambal is some of the best I’ve ever had. Breakfast was also good, and I appreciated that they included local things for us to try together with the standard fresh juice, fruit, eggs and toast. And the couple who runs it are so friendly and helpful! They arranged a rental car for us one day and tuk-tuk to the train station.
