The bedrooms comprise of a double bed. There is AC and a ceiling fan to help you keep the room cool.

The private attached bathroom has white fittings of toilet, douche, wash basin and hot water shower.

Your host is Malisha, He is the owner's son. He will help you during your stay. They also organise jeep safaris, elephant safaris and day visits to places of interest such as Sigiriya, Dambulla and Polonnaruwa.

When we visited the premises in April 2016 the swimming pool was well under development but not finished.

There are plenty of birds and animals around from hens to budgies in a cage.

Breakfast is not included but can be provided in the restaurant for a small fee.

There is also an Ayurvedic Health Centre next door in Mutu Village with massage beds and a herbal steam room.

Habarana is on the route direct from Trincomalee to Dambulla. The bus stops at the Habarana junction for travellers who want to go to Sigiriya. Whilst going to Sigiriya would involve catching two buses, taking a tuktuk is shorter and quicker as they use back roads not practical for bus transport.

Habarana is 17 kms from Sigiriya, 19 kms from Dambulla, 54 kms to Polonarruwa and 82 kms to Trincomalee. It is a small town of only about 5,000 to 10,000 people. It is used as a base for visiting other places of interest such as Sigiriya Rock and Minneriya National Park. As such there are many hotels and guest houses in the area.
