You will not find any new Ikea furniture here instead you will find traditional Sri Lankan furniture in a clean traditional home with a lovely warm local family.

A spacious clean and airy room with a lovely balcony looking out onto a garden full of jack fruit trees, mangos, cherry trees, cashew nuts and veralu.

The bedroom has a stand up fan and lots of space for luggage storage and a small desk for writing, in the hall way is a small shared bathroom with free amenities and hot water shower.

Guests have access to the lounge, patio, garden and dining room where Sri Lankan breakfast is served, guests can enjoy yummy local breakfast with hoppers and omelette. Breakfast and Cool bottled water are provided free of charge.

Your host family are Dennis (who works at the American embassy), his wife Sriyani ( a local school teacher and an amazing cook), their daughter Sathsarani and their musical son Kavindu who loves to play the keyboard and of course not forgetting their friendly dog Bingo.

Feel part of the family, I mean after all thats all part of the Sri Lanka experience, living with real people, eating real Sri Lankan food and living as they would.

Enjoy village life, walk to small village shops but if you need anything major and bars etc you will need to get a tuktuk to Negombo town.

The house is only 10 minutes from Colombo Airport. However because of the remoteness of this property we do not recommend guests trying to make their own way as drivers that do not know the property will not be able to find it.

Therefore we offer very good rates on airport transfers for our guests. For a tuktuk the price is only 600 rupees (4 Euro) or by car shuttle depending on the size of the car is from 1600 rupees (9 Euro) to 2100 rupees (13 Euro).
